From Brunai and the "Adventure" from the "not worthwhile" section leads us to our trip to the Malaysian duty-free island of Labuan, where we take the opportunity to stock up on very cheap basic foodstuffs such as beer and other "soft drinks", which are very expensive in Muslim Malaysia. Here in Labuan clearing in and declaring went smoothly as usual and considering the fact that the island is not very interesting, we left the duty-free paradise after 2 days to visit one of the famous islands on the north coast of Borneo.

Tiga Island became famous for the US television series "Survivor". I am a movie fan and so there are a number of film locations of Hollywood productions in Odin's journey.
Popeye in Malta,
Dr.Doolittle in St. Lucia,
Pirates of the Caribbean in Wallilabu / St. Vincent,
Blue Lagoon Yasawas / Fiji,
Cast away Mamanuca / Fiji,
the beach Maya Bay / Thailand ….and many other.
Survivor ... sounds like adventure and in my imagination ... well, at least not with jetties, resorts and diving schools.
Whether these buildings are built before or after the series we are not sure but one thing is obvious, the construction in Malaysia - were closed again due to mismanagement. Here and there some excursion destinations with speed boats come from the mainland to the survival island Tiga, which is also a nature reserve.
Odin is the only ship anchoring off the protected west coast and we are finally on a lonely anchorage again.
