Agony of choice

As you all know, most sailors have not succumbed to the rush of speed, or fast traveling, quite the contrary!
It seems that we are even redefining the discovery of slowness on this journey south, towards Malaysia.
Slow, slower, Odin!
The route from Phuket to the first port of entry into Malaysian Langkawi could actually be sailed with good wind in 24 hours ... if there were not so many beautiful islands along the way, from which we would like to visit as many as possible.
So 24 hours can easily become 24 days, provided our provisions last so long.
Fresh food is already out, but luckily there are cans and so we have the choice between beautiful islands and canned food or fresh products.
We decide against fresh fruits and vegetables, want to push our next contact with the concentrated civilization as far as possible behind, because our visit in the overcrowded Bangkok was just too much ;)
