That's it!
After more than 5 months (with some interruptions) we finally dropped anchor and left the San Blas Archipelago behind us.
When I first read something about these last Caribbean Indians in a book by the circumnavigator Rollo Gebhardt more than 20 years ago, it became one of my dreams to spend some time on these islands, or near these islands, deserted by hectic and stress Life.

It's nice that friends were also here during this time - and Uts was particularly happy that her mother, who was 72, wanted to experience this adventure.
So we not only spent the last few days in the islands, but also sailed to the mainland to explore 2 small jungle rivers with the young old lady and the dinghy.

With a wonderful wind and rushing ride, we drove west along the almost untouched jungle coast back to Porto Belo, from where we will take our visitors by taxi to the airport in Panama City on Friday.

Over the next few weeks we are slowly preparing ourselves and the ship mentally and morally for the next highlight of this trip;
the passage through the Panama Canal.
