Today to the day it's 1000 days since I've been living my dream.
1000 days of life on board, time to take stock.
While I'm writing these lines, I'm looking at the almost 2000 pictures of the past months and years in the logbook and I'm glad to be able to keep this logbook regularly, because I would simply forget a lot of things given the abundance of events.
There were unspeakably beautiful moments, annoying experiences (tax consultant) and sad moments (my father died in 2007 at the beginning of this journey, a partnership broke up).
All in all, however, there were far more beautiful experiences that increased the hunger for more sea.
For 1000 days the sea and Odin have been my home and for these 1000 days I have felt at home.
Together with Uts I am looking forward to everything that is to come, because after all we are only at the beginning of this adventure. ;O)
