GUEST LOG ENTRY by Karen & Phillip

16. May 2008, Friday
Position unbekannt

After a few really hard hours of sailing in a wind force of 7 (both of us were so miserable at the end of the wave ascent and descent...), we met at a truly beautiful anchorage. A dream! Turquoise blue (... and finally also calm :)) water, wonderful landscape with countless medieval ruins (Nicholas Island, 7th century AD <- see logbook entry a few days before) - simply a unique atmosphere.
Are Steffı & Bertel very grateful that they complied with our wish to see this little corner of the earth. We spent, experienced and enjoyed full and unforgettable days here.
Tomorrow we will unfortunately be returning to Fethiye to the Qaecker (Muhezın) and the extremely loud school break bells. Hopefully a gullet (Turkish wooden ship) won't "attack" us again and hopefully we'll be "allowed" to sail with the wind this time - at least half wind.
What a pity - the time was once again much too short but absolutely wonderful!
Bertel & Phıllıp's main motto describes the main activity on board: BREATH IN... BREATH OUT...
In this sense, we enjoy and experience every minute of life - and we do it consciously!
