Inhale and exhale

Before this trip, in the preparation phase of this adventure of sailing around the world, it was clear to me that my most important daily tasks consist of the following two activities: INHALING & EXHALING!

Everything else is secondary! While I had some trouble relaxing in the early years, this has improved significantly over the years.

I no longer feel like I'm chasing something, or that something is running away from me. It's the same with our travel circles, the countries, islands, or anchorages. If we like it, we stay for days or weeks; if not, or if it gets boring, we let the next destination surprise us.

The Visayas Islands are our next destination, but that can wait, as we are in the middle of cyclone season and the further east we sail, the greater the risk of getting caught in another storm like that.

So we spend this time on the mostly safe south side of Palawan, exploring the islands and anchorages, like we did off the island of Caurie, and indulging in our most important activity: INHALING & EXHALATION.
