Planning thoughts are meaningless!

Mostly I proclaim with pride when someone asks me for my plans that I / we enjoy the freedom of having have no plan.

However, even in a life without plans there is an urgent need to arrange at least some things in advance.
Yeah, I know what you think now: "What kind of a confusing stuff he is talking about ?!"

Granted, that sounds a bit "planned" but nevertheless, in a life outside of beaten track, outside working bureaucracy and situations that you have to constantly adjust to - long term plans rarely makes sense.

We are back in Thailand!
The blame for being here lies on the inability of the Malaysian Departments and officials to assess situations like we have. Fighting for three weeks against windmills and import regulations seems too much for my stubborn head and the only thing I see as an escape from this difficult situation for both our side - Malaysian Officials and Odin Officials - is to leave and get out of the country.

Thus, our planned shipyard appointment in Pangkor was also obsolete.
There are in the south of Thailand near Satun, hidden in the mangrove rivers a shipyard for fishing boats that can only be reached at full moon, new moon, or at Springtide because of the shallow water levels.

So, on to the fishing shipyard, which by the way also enjoys a good reputation among sailors who have been roaming the area here for years.

However, there was an accident some time ago when a 100-year-old sailing ship fell down twice from the slip-wagon while being lifted up from the water and was badly damaged.
"Shit happen" we think and are sure that the workers after all the trouble now are especially careful!
They sure are!
Odin is now safely ashore and we want the girl after 12 years of circumnavigation now spend a complete new hull painting.
A few weeks shipyard are now in front of us and it remains only the hope that we can do everything before the start of the rainy season.
We'll keep you up to date!
