So, here it is, the new year 2019!

You know this:
Every 31st of December, at the turn of the year, there is great expectation for the coming 365 days,
The good intentions and above all the big party at the end of the old and at the beginning of the new year.
After thinking for a long time about where we wanted to celebrate New Year's Eve, only one thing came to mind. Go out to dinner and then get back on board before midnight and watch the fireworks from the box seat on deck.
Hundreds of huge lanterns start on the beach and drag us with their wishes in the sky and out to sea. Like everywhere else in the world, firecrackers rise into the night and paint beautiful bright colors in the night sky.
On the beach, very far away from us and barely audible, the crowd of tipsy or drunken tourists and locals rages, while we are at 27 degrees on deck and the swell gently rocks us back and forth.
It was not a New Year's orgy, but still nice.
A good start to 2019!
We wish you and us, that it will be a fantastic year!
