"That's Bertel Bühring!"
As I hear these words on a street in Nai Harn Thailand behind me, I cringe at first and in the brain rattles off an analysis program.
"What did I do now?"
But it quickly clears up, a person with a very civilized haircut grins at me from across the street from his scooter.
It takes a bit until I get my thoughts sorted, it's Oli, an FB friend from Würzburg. What a surprise to hear Franconian here.
But not enough for the day. The Würzburg Connection continues.
On the way we meet a Würzburg veteran, who is known in my adopted country like a colorful dog. Robby Hoffmann..
Where he is his best friend David Bernanke can not be far and with him Puma, in its "sinful" establishment "El Paradiso" I celebrated in 2007 with 180 friends and acquaintances my farewell from Germany. Horny party !!!! (See pictures August 2007)
12 years are now in between and now you meet somewhere in a random town in Thailand.
The world is a village!
Oliver was still on the same scene with his sundowner on board and the boys came to visit Odin the next day.
We laughed a lot, told and we spent a great afternoon on board.
Towards evening we drove with the loaded with 6 dinghy in the direction of land until suddenly the engine failed. Class!
Luckily we had paddles ... ups ... broken paddles!
Giant laughter, but we still managed to land and have a nice evening in the restaurant of a ... now you may guess ....it belongs to a guy from Würzburg.
This was followed by several more days where we met spontaneously and were incredibly fun.
Thailand is in Franconian hands;)
