As you know from one of the last logbook entries, there are also some waterfalls here on Moorea, which are also diligently visited by the few tourists who come here at the moment. There are also beautifully laid out paths so that nothing happens to the tourist.
But there are also remote waterfalls in the jungle.
Finding them is difficult, but when you make the journey, bathing naked in ice-cold (24 degrees!) small lakes along the way before you reach the cascades, you know how beautiful solitude can be.
Oh yes, the mosquito bites on legs and arms, you quickly forgot ;o)
