They are everywhere

The only country of our trip where we didn't find Coca Cola, McDonalds or Chinese was Cuba.
Otherwise things are everywhere in the world.
Especially Chinese.
The reputation of their diligence precedes them.
So it is not surprising that the trade in almost all non-European countries is in their hands.
Here in Tahiti, too, there has been a large Chinese community for generations, which, despite the distance to their actual homeland, does not allow their culture to be taken away.
The Chinese New Year, about a month after our New Year's Eve, is one of the highlights.
If I didn't know for sure that we were actually in Polynesia, I would have thought we were lost that day.
